Spatula Fire

We have just cleaned this one so far this is  a fire for Melody Pierce-Sweeney ...

This home owner had a pan on the stove with a plastic spatula from Pamper Chief (it was a high heat resistant spatula) She  left the room and got busy doing other things, as we all too often do. Her dog was actually what alerted her of a problem in the kitchen. Everything but the handle of the spatula had melted and started a small fire. the house had an intense odor and the cabinets located near the stove where scorched. SERVPRO of Lapeer has cleaned and sanitized the customers home and removed the odor so repairs can begin.
