Doll Museam Fire Mitigation & Restoration
Sunday, Aug. 30 around 2:30 p.m. a fire started in the upstairs of the building that houses the Davison Doll Museum. SERVPRO of Lapeer was called in to take care of the mess and to restore the building. The before picture shows how the refrigerator rippled and melted from the heat of the fire. We cleaned the kitchen and the rest of the building, saving as many dolls as possible, and were able to put the museum back together as though the fire had never happened. All the dolls are resting comfortably back in their display cases and on their shelves for guests to admire and enjoy for years to come.
