Pipe Burst on First Floor

This home had a pipe burst on the first floor due to extremely cold temperatures. The leeks lead to major damage in the ceiling of the basement. You can tell from the pictures that a lot of water made its way through the basement ceiling and onto the floor and counters. However, with damage like this you can easily miss the water that sits underneath the main levels flooring. Moisture readers indicated that the sub flooring was saturated. First drying equipment was placed to dry out the affected area but shortly after it was obvious that the flooring has to be removed in order to completely dry the space out and prevent microbial (mold) growth.
